Two lovers who wanted to leave together
Two lovers who wished for their own desert
Two lovers who wanted to leave together
Two lovers who wanted to reset the universe
- - -
Two lovers buried at the bottom of a cosmic cliff
Orbiting around their own grief
Two lovers buried at the bottom of a cosmic cliff
A mesmerizing view from which they can never drift
- - -
Their rest has been disturbed
No amount of repentance and prayer
Can ever free their spirit from a nightmare
Their bodies have been discovered!
The longest night in paradise
Or the shortest trip in the devil’s eyes
Once you have been selected
Your loved ones can no longer remain unaffected!
Once you’ve been seen
You must turn yourself in
How did they come, how did they come
To choose death over sex?
How did they come, how did they come
To choose death over sex?
But no matter what went awry on their timeline
Now together they were at peace
Yet now that they’re being uncovered piece by piece
Only the worst parts will come to light
- - -
Two lovers buried at the bottom of a cosmic cliff
Orbiting around their own grief
Two lovers buried at the bottom of a cosmic cliff
A mesmerizing view from which they can never drift
- - -
The warning came through onto the radio
There’s something moving under the ground!
There’s something coming to the top!
Whether flat or round
The world won’t ever recover!
The longest night in paradise
Or the shortest trip in the devil’s eyes
Once you have been selected
Your loved ones can no longer remain unaffected!
Once you’ve been seen
You must turn yourself in
How did they come, how did they come
To choose death over sex?
How did they come, how did they come
To choose death over sex?
At the bottom of a cosmic cliff
No matter the planet you’re buried
The ground will always welcome you
The tree that will then grow out of your body
Will always reach out for life
Leaf after leaf, leaf after leaf
The tree will always reach out for life
Leaf after leaf, leaf after leaf
Thank you for trusting us and choosing our company for your tour!
We have been expecting you!
We can assure you the journey will be fully secure.
Please bear with us as we review the lift parameters
And apply the necessary pressure.
Please keep your voice to a murmur…
The warning came through onto the radio
There’s something moving under the ground!
There’s something coming to the top!
Il y a quelque chose qui approche!
Quelque chose va jaillir hors du sol!
Quelque chose qui crie ‘laissez-moi sortir’!
There’s something inside me
I’m never getting away from
There’s something inside me
I can’t understand
There’s something inside me
That defines who I am
And which I strive to put to an end
- - -
We are coming, we are coming…
I sent a message across a parallel universe
May be hard to decipher but I got an answer!
I sent a message across a parallel universe
May be hard to decipher but I got an answer!

The Pacifist
04:06
|
|||
A lot of activity on here, people with masks, people with badges
Blue light, red light incoming, is that the police you may ask.
Red eyeballs on the floor
Red wine blood all over the walls
This scene is definitely way too gore
Just as we’d predicted from the 999 call
Their stranglers were no strangers
They had no qualms committing parricide
They kept calm as they betrayed their insides
Were just fine carrying on
Even as they were beginning to rot
Although they’d never leave their roots
No matter where they died
No body on the scene
But blood, eyeballs, strands of hair
The floor showing signs of fingernails scraping
And the smell of horror lingers in the air
But he who lived here was known to be a pacifist
But skepticism and helplessness contaminated the atmosphere
They’d sent a rescue team, an army of defeatists
But the loudest words were born out of fear
And the bloodiest wars born out of fists!
As panic and adrenalin rushed through his veins
As the blood rushed out and left its stains
As every memory drained out of his brain
It still seemed death was uncertain
One of the officers had to take a breather
You can find him vaping in what’s shaping
To be a red blood night by the river
Where a body can be found spread out like an angel
With black holes eye sockets seeming to stare
At what’s making him soar
Growing the wings of a corpse
Which is going to share
A lifetime with its creator
Let my frail hands wrap you in death
Let this be the most fulfilled of my threats
Let my pale hands regain strength
As they offer you your last breath
Let my frail hands wrap you in death
Let this be the most fulfilled of my threats
Let my pale hands regain strength
As they offer you your last breath
But he who lived here was known to be a pacifist
But skepticism and helplessness contaminated the atmosphere
They’d sent a rescue team, an army of defeatists
But the loudest words were born out of fear
And the bloodiest wars born out of fists!
As panic and adrenalin rushed through his veins
As the blood rushed out and left its stains
As every memory drained out of his brain
It still seemed death was uncertain

Sway
05:52
|
|||
From our roots grow our memories
As we gradually reach higher stories
And elevate ourselves to new possibilities
They will become available to you to the best of our abilities
Two hundred years old
Watered with animal blood
Warming my roots as I grow and grow and grow old
A native of nature
But I have nothing to protect myself with
Lonesome in the middle of a crater
The forest that surrounded my leaves
- - -
Long gone in smoke, a land left shattered
No one left to communicate with
To warn of incoming danger
And be on the lookout for intruding creatures
- - -
As I grow, I remember
Once I was a dancer
Once I was a dancer
But now, I face the music stone dead
Sway, I can only sway
I can only sway
My colors have turned all gray
My prayers have all been left unsaid
Sway, I can't ever run away
I can only sway
Sway, I can only sway
I can no longer pray
Two hundred leaves
Leave me every day
As I sway, as I sway
I know the dead things
Need not remain
But I see them return, always
Sometimes in different forms
Sometimes through calm
Sometimes through storms
Isn't this how we once were born?
Isn't this how we once were born?
Two hundred bodies
Resting right underneath me
I protect and safeguard them
For when the time comes at the end
For them to re-emerge
It's my duty to preserve
It's now become my desert
- - -
And some of them came here
So tired and ready to rest
With one wish and one fear
No matter what, they told me
Don't let them resurrect!
- - -
As I grow, I remember
Once I was a dancer
Once I was a dancer
But now, I face the music stone dead
Sway, I can only sway
I can only sway
I can only sway to the changes underway
Never understanding from where they lay
Never understanding what they mean to say
Two hundred leaves
Leave me every day
As I sway, as I sway
I know the dead things
Need not remain
But I see them return, always
Sometimes in different forms
Sometimes through calm
Sometimes through storms
Isn't this how we once were born?
Isn't this how we once were born?
I reached out, I reached out
But I was disappearing with the clouds
That could never get their chance to rain
I tried to speak more aloud
But I couldn't step foot on a new terrain
I reached out, I reached out
For one last dance, for one last dance

Smokeless Fire
04:35
|
|||
The smoking floor is right above
You’re welcome to enjoy doing what you love
The only way to my heart is through my lungs
The only way to my body, to my body is in
I laid my own bones and realized I was finally home
One of those nights I woke
And saw my lives in a blaze of smoke
Now I’m forever surrounded by a cloud
How did such spirits ever get out?
They caressed my soul and then withdrew
Now I’m forever surrendering anew
Smokeless, smokeless, smokeless fire
Destroys and burns but does not linger
You can only see the damage
But not but not the pleasure
Smokeless, smokeless, smokeless fire
Worthless to get higher
We found our home in the need and desire
Our messiah, our messiah
Ride the rush, ride the rush to my braincells
Ride the buzz, the buzz to insane decibels
Ride the rush, ride the rush to my braincells
Find the touch, the touch to destroying oneself
The only way to my heart is through my lungs
The only way to my body, to my body is in
I laid my own bones and realized I was finally home
One of those nights I woke
And saw my lives in a blaze of smoke
It says nothing and no one really ever does leave the Earth
Just not how our spirits are wired
The answer to all those whispers you ever heard
And all the screaming of a soulless liar
Smokeless, smokeless, smokeless fire
Destroys and burns but does not linger
You can only see the damage
But not but not the pleasure
Smokeless, smokeless, smokeless fire
Worthless to get higher
We found our home in the need and desire
Our messiah, our messiah
Ride the rush, ride the rush to my braincells
Ride the buzz, the buzz to insane decibels
Ride the rush, ride the rush to my braincells
Find the touch, the touch to destroying oneself
It’s not the experience that I relish
It’s the freedom that lays down the stitches
It’s not the experience that I relish
It’s the freedom that removes the itch

Vessel for a Spirit
05:32
|
|||
We seem to be experiencing some unforeseen difficulties
We must demand you to be patient
While we attempt to resolve them
We apologize for any inconvenience
We’re dying before your very eyes
Our bodies doubled up in size
Swollen by our unborn children
Swallowed by our undone lungs
We’re dying like so many others before
It’s just part of our core
We’ll try and live through the children we bore
Our new vessels as they’re born
Eat us, chew us, digest us!
Feed on our blood
Chew us to the bone!
Our mind is being eaten alive
Attacked by all parts
As we enter the hive
A buzzing was whispering right from the start
Eat our meat, process our spirit!
As we’re paid a lifetime long visit
By a spirit we’ll never even get to meet
A vessel for a spirit, a vessel for a spirit
A vessel for a spirit
The possessor of a destiny
We’re now part of her entrails
We always set out for this trail
Closer than ever to her womb
We’ve happily become her food
If they ever find out what’s haunting us day and night
Does that make who we are now a lie?
Letting others make their own versions of us to live by
Do we have to confess?
Must we come out with an alibi?
I’m at peace tonight
I’ll be the king of the cemetery
And all these ghosts so bored at night
Will come to share their story
Every time I get into a fit of anger
It becomes harder to be fit to recover
I never pretended
I barely dressed up, I was always honest in my art
I never had the phoniest of intentions
When I went for your heart
When I killed, it was from my own will
I couldn’t better than fighting back
Eat us, chew us, digest us!
Feed on our blood
Chew us to the bone!
Our mind is being eaten alive
Attacked by all parts
As we enter the hive
A buzzing was whispering right from the start
Eat our meat, process our spirit!
As we’re paid a lifetime long visit
By a spirit we’ll never even get to meet
A vessel for a spirit, a vessel for a spirit
A vessel for a spirit
The possessor of a destiny
We’re now part of her entrails
We always set out for this trail
Closer than ever to her womb
We’ve happily become her food
Sorry I think I had that thought at the wrong beat
I was actually just trying to think the opposite
I’ll just work on my spirit
In order to erase it
But these intrusive spirits, they never quit, they never quit!

Nous sommes plusieurs à partager ce corps
Mais les autres ne prendront plus jamais le contrôle
Deux entités opposées qui ont élevé
Un corps possédé mais à présent apaisé

Dictatorship
05:01
|
|||
We’re going up, up, up, we’re slowly continuing our ascent
On this floor, a very very important meeting
To decide of the outcome of an entire nation!
They were silenced under a dictatorship
Their freedom escaped from their grip
They found their rights all but stripped
With only one idol to worship
The taste of blood on their lips
The hands of God guiding them to sleep
As they were blindfolded
They had a final look at the light unfolding
As their heart rate exploded
They had a final taste of their veins pulsing
Ready to accept defeat
Powerless, all they can do is submit
No more ways to build an opposite
To this destiny-hijacking injustice
Have some sympathy for murderers!
Fetch some water for body burners
Draw some blood for the body healers
Hit your head hard for painkillers!
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
Of my power shortage
Your only advantage
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
They pick up their gods from the gutter
Down which they threw up their guts
Nearly choked on the prayers they uttered
Every last crumb came gushing out
Empty stomach craving for anything to fill it back
As they were blindfolded
They had a final look at lives unfolding
As their eyelids exploded
They had a final taste of their blood coursing
Through the faithless streets
Now at the hands of a power they can never beat
No more prayers for gods of mercy to meet
Another ideology has taken over the city!
Have some sympathy for murderers!
Fetch some water for body burners
Draw some blood for the body healers
Hit your head hard for painkillers!
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
Of my power shortage
Your only advantage
Take off the bandage
Now take advantage!
They knew their value and worth
Would not meet dignity at their hands
Yet they never forgot the humanity they bore
They never forgot that life ends in sacrifice
And although they worked hard to overwrite them
They never did ignore the signs
They had to make room for them in their thoughts
Although the only outcome meant
They still fought and fought and fought

No One Escapes My Land
04:19
|
|||
When the lift doors open on the next floor
Be prepared for fresh air
You’ll ascend to real freedom
Even if you take the stairs
Even as I sleep, I keep a tight grip on my firearm
Even as I kill, I keep my prey’s heartbeats on a tight leash
I know of all the stories about that farm
I make sure to avoid walking across from it
When I have to venture out for the hunt
Whenever I have to step out into the sun
Wherever up on the hill I have to run
I keep away from the groans and the grunts
That farm won’t invade my belly
And then they say, the farm, which farm?
It’s been empty for the last decade’s better part
Why are you still tearing innocents apart?
I say, there are no innocents
If you break through the fence
You must deal with the consequence
No one escapes my land
No women and no men!
I keep my prey’s heartbeats on a tight leash
As I take and carry them towards the pit
Once the stroll is over
I throw them down deep, deep, deep
Making sure they land on their heads, not their feet
I’m their maker, their breaker, I bring them to sleep
I protect them from being otherwise corrupted
Even as I take a pause, I’ve had to learn to switch
From my smoking hand to my left hand
Even as I gather an intruder from the bottom of a ditch
I still do bother, to try and make them understand
I don’t take pleasure from my killing hand
My lack of humanity with them is as God intends
The real evil is on the other side of the fence
It gets under your skin
And turns you into a purveyor of sin
And then they say, the farm, which farm?
It’s been empty for the last decade’s better part
Why are you still tearing innocents apart?
I say, there are no innocents
If you break through the fence
You must deal with the consequence
No one escapes my land
No women and no men!
I keep my prey’s heartbeats on a tight leash
As I take and carry them towards the pit
Once the stroll is over
I throw them down deep, deep, deep
Making sure they land on their heads, not their feet
I’m their maker, their breaker, I bring them to sleep
I protect them from being otherwise corrupted
Don’t bury them just yet
I’m not finished with them!

Inside Creatures
04:24
|
|||
On there is a floor where the only people alive are in white
The others can no longer possibly be right, cold as ice
They ought to be in the basement as they used to.
We’re inside creatures, we love to lie under a roof
We prefer to stand between four walls
We favor artificial lights over the sun
And daytime all night under the moon
We can see right through our souls
When reflected through a mirror
But if you squint and see the real truth
You’ll faint, pass out and fall
Right into God’s consciousness
That’s called going to bed!
We’re home to the inside creatures
Which, when we want to break out
And scream, make their whispers heard
The stronger, stronger do you turn out
The less do you, do you resist their orders
We’re inside creatures
We love to lie way, way deep under
We crave to be surrounded by wood
We favor blackness darker than earth
And lose the concept of bad vs. good
We’re dependent creatures
We love habits that prey on us
We adore needing something we can actually have
Even when there’s a downside, a large price
And the things we love more than that
Is needing what we can’t buy
And what we can’t find, not in this lifetime
For the void inside to be properly fed
We’re home to the inside creatures
Which, when we want to break out
And scream, make their whispers heard
The stronger, stronger do you turn out
The less do you, do you resist their orders
We’re fooling outside creatures
Thinking we have it so much better
When finding our flesh devoured
Would be a pain much quicker and softer
Than what goes on deep inside the border
We determine world peace
From the inside of an office
We determine our after lives
Thinking it’s such a big deal to die
We’re fragile creatures
We can only crave being watered
Shivering into the winds
We become part of what our home offers
We ignore so much of our interior
Unaware of its parts that shatter
At long last we are seen
That’s called becoming dead!

Gods in Human Forms
03:45
|
|||
All praying must take place on the upcoming top floor
Nowhere else in this city seems to be sacred anymore
The gods in human forms
Hiding in plain sight, riding in plain clothes
The gods in human forms
Dying in plain sight, lying under doors closed
Between viscous matter forms fertile nature
In thus creating out of love
Nothing inherently impure
A stream of life, a dimension of sound and smell
The ephemeral appropriating the eternal
Is it up to other people to save you?
Is it up to other people to salvage your youth?
Is it up to yourself to ruin your good mood?
Whose choice will it be to leave the forthcoming roof?
Beware of the temptations towards the end of the journey!
Thank you for trusting us!
Be sure to come back to us!
The people who don’t want to change the world
Are amongst some of the most dangerous
Recognize your gods
And analyze the messages they send for you to decode
Ils effleurent les dieux et pleurent leurs yeux
Ils effleurent les dieux et pleuvent les larmes des cieux
Ils se détournent de leurs sauveurs
Et retournent vers un impossible bonheur
|

Now that you’ve taken the lift from the basement to the top of the building
Be sure to be with us the whole way and don’t be too greedy!
Beware of the temptations towards the end of the journey!
No matter what, don't stop on the thirty-third floor
No matter what, don't stop on the thirty-third floor
No matter what, don't stop on the thirty-third floor!
If you press open and step onto the thirty-third floor
You'll be violating a home
You'll be violating a family
Jeopardize their privacy
Corrupt the peace they've built
You'll be an enemy on sacred territory
- - -
Don’t, don’t, don’t knock on that door!
Don’t, don’t, don’t knock on that door!
What happened on the 33rd floor
Is not up to ever be discovered
The last known address of a cherished corpse
Whose last wishes was never to let his brothers
Come back up, come back home
And see what happened while they were gone
There’s some strange activity going on behind that door
There’s some strange, strange activity going on on the 33rd floor
- - -
And when you arrive by that door
No matter what you don’t knock!
This door must always remain locked
This door must always remain locked!
And when you arrive by that floor
No matter what you don’t stop!
This floor must always remain locked
This floor must always remain locked!
- - -
No matter what, don’t stop on the thirty-third floor
No matter what, don’t stop on the thirty-third floor
No matter what, don’t stop on the thirty-third floor
No matter what, don’t stop on the thirty-third floor!
If you press open and step onto the thirty-third floor
You'll be overhearing unshared secrets
You'll be disturbing their rest
You'll be displaying uncaring disrespect
With every one of your unaware footsteps
You'll be tempting it into ascending
- - -
Don’t, don’t, don’t knock on that door!
Don’t, don’t, don’t knock on that door!
Life may have begun on the 33rd floor
But what became of it
Must never be let out, must never escape its core
On this clustered floor
Is life as it will eventually be known
As one must come to discover
The scariest concept is what kind of worse -
Harm can be done
When death is no longer an option?
Giving life on the 33rd floor
Is akin to mastering a discipline
Become in themselves their own art form
There, the womb is not even the birth scene
It's all in the heart, in the soul, in the words
That part from our mouth into the world
Giving birth to whole other planets!
It's all in the heart, in the soul, in the words
That part from our mouth into the world
Giving birth to whole other planets!
Let me out, let me out, let me out, let me out…
